I work as a Finance Manager for Food Premium Valley (FVP), responsible for submitting financial reports to management. Initially, our reporting cycle was semi-annual, which reflected poorly on our team and hindered organisational decision-making. Recognising the importance of timely reporting, I aimed to improve team management and attended the Effective People Management course. Equipped with new skills in team productivity, I successfully transitioned our financial reporting frequency from semi-annual to quarterly. Management acknowledged my efforts, leading to a promotion and a 10% salary increase.
